Dyadic Developmental Therapy

Often shortened to DDP, this type of therapy is used with children and young people who have emotional problems associated with early trauma and difficulties forming stable attachment relationships.

The goal of DDP is to help young people to feel safe with their carers and develop more secure, close attachments to them, which can help them to make progress in all other areas of development.
